JC Stoneware creates handmade hot/cold food tiles made from high fire stoneware clay.

Food tiles are inexpensive, handmade functional art, primarily used in the kitchen to keep your hot food deliciously hot or cold food crispy cold.  Tiles can also be used as a trivet, coaster or hung on the wall as a decoration.

Everything is created here by our own hands, starting with wet clay which makes each piece a unique work of art. 

Tiles can be heated in the oven and placed in a foil lined basket to keep hot foods (potatoes, tortillas, bread, pancakes, or etc.) hot.  If you are going to a pot luck heat the tile and put it in the soup or beans to keep them hot.

You can freeze the tile and place it with cold foods such as salads or shrimp cocktail.  What a fun way to surprise guests when they get to the bottom of the dish.

Hot/cold tiles come are approximately 6'' around and  weight about one pound.   Tiles come in assorted colors depending on inventory, they are dishwasher safe, lead free and impervious to stains. 

As a small home based business we market to a limited number of wholesale accounts including unique gift stores and art galleries.  Retail is sold at arts and craft shows in Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.  We are currently accepting new wholesale accounts.
